Using stats and reports from Mintel and GMID, I think there
is an opportunity for a fragrance in Asia as that is a market with a growing
income and a growing want for beauty and fragrance.
After further research, I think that China would be the best
option to market a fragrance too. Without a history of scent and emotional
links to fragrance, China are growing a want for beauty and fragrance. I found
the Mintel report by Lui Meng Chow on China’s beauty and Fragrance market very
useful within my research. Now, with the basis for the fragrance set, ideas on
who to sell it to, how and what the product will be can now commence.
